The importance of obedience

20:121 Then they both ate of it, so their shame became apparent to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred.

7:22 So he made both of them fall by deception. Then when they both tasted the tree, their shame became apparent to both of them, and they began to fasten over themselves the leaves of the Garden. And their Lord called both of them, "Did I not forbid both of you from this tree and say to both of you that Satan is to both of you an open enemy?" 7:23 Both of them said "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers." 7:24 (Allah) said, "Get down (as) enemy some of you to some others. And for you on the earth (is) a dwelling place and livelihood for a time." 7:25 He said, "In it you will live and in it you will die and from it you will be brought forth."

7:11 And We certainly created you, then We fashioned you. Then We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam," So they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated. 7:12 (Allah) said, "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?" (Iblees) said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and You created him from clay." 7:13 (Allah) said, "Then go down from it, for it is not for you to be arrogant in it. So get out; indeed, you are of the disgraced ones."

48:10 Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you - they only pledge allegiance to Allah. The Hand of Allah is over their hands. Then whoever breaks then only breaks against himself, and whoever fulfills that which he has covenanted with Allah - He will soon give him a great reward.

16:49 And to Allah prostrate whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the Angels, and they are not arrogant. 16:50 They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.

2:216 Fighting is prescribed upon you while it is disliked by you. But perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you do not know.

4:46 Among the Jews are those who distort words from their places and they say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard” and "Raina", twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said, "We hear and obey" and "Hear and look at us”, it would surely have been better for them and more suitable. [And] but Allah cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.

64:16 So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend; it is better for yourselves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - then those are the successful.

6:121 And (do) not eat of that on which Allah’s name has not been mentioned, and indeed, it (is) grave disobedience. And indeed, the devils inspire [to] their friends so that they dispute with you, and if you obey them, indeed, you (would) be the polytheists.

(According to Verse 6:121, obeying the devils is polytheism)(Allah knows best)

30:31 Turning to Him, and fear Him and establish the prayer and (do) not be of the polytheists 30:32 Of those who divide their religion and become sects, each party rejoicing in what they have.

(You cannot become a sect. If you differ from the religion, it implies polytheism (aka obeying people/Satan instead of obeying God))(Allah knows best)

51:56 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

6:133 And your Lord is the Self-Sufficient, the Possessor of Mercy. If He wills, He can do away with you and give succession after you to whomever He wills, as He raised you from the descendants of another people.

41:38 But if they are arrogant - then those who are near your Lord glorify Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary.

38:73 So the Angels prostrated - all of them together. 38:74 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became of the disbelievers. … 38:84 He said, "The truth, and the truth I say – 38:85 I will surely fill Hell with you and those who follow you among them all together."

4:69 And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - then those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the Prophets, and the truthful, and the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those (as) companions.

59:21 If We (had) sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, surely you (would) have seen it humbled, breaking asunder from the fear of Allah. And these examples, We present them, to the people, so that they may give thought.

34:12 And to Solomon, the wind - its morning course was that of a month and its afternoon course was that of a month, and We caused to flow a spring of molten copper for him. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our Command, We will make him taste the punishment of the Blaze.

3:97 In it are clear signs, the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it - is safe. And to Allah upon the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to it a way. And whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

35:15 O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah, He is Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 35:16 If He wills, He (can) do away with you and bring in a new creation.

103:1 By the time, 103:2 Indeed, mankind is surely in loss, 103:3 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and enjoin (each other) to the truth and enjoin (each other) to patience.

72:23 Except the notification from Allah and His Messages." And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then indeed, for him is the Fire of Hell, (they will) abide therein forever.

6:15 Say, "Indeed, I fear if I disobeyed my Lord, the punishment of a Mighty Day."

10:15 And when Our Verses are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us said, "Bring us a Qur’an other than this or change it." Say, "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I follow not except what is revealed to me. Indeed, If I were to disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a Great Day."

24:1 A Surah/(Chapter) - We (have) sent it down and [We] (have) made it obligatory, and therein/(in which) We (have) revealed clear Verses, so that you may take heed.

29:68 And who (is) more unjust than (he) who invents a lie against Allah or denies the truth when it has come to him. Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?

33:1 O Prophet, fear Allah and (do) not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise. 33:2 And follow what is inspired to you from your Lord. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

34:32 Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from the guidance after [when] it had come to you? Nay, (but) you were criminals." 34:33 And those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Nay, (it was) a plot (by) night and (by) day when you were ordering us that we/(to) disbelieve in Allah and we set up for Him equals." But they will conceal the regret when they see the punishment. And We will put shackles on (the) necks (of) those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except (for) what they used to do?
