Waiting for a savior? Should Muslims wait for the coming or return of someone?

Waiting for a savior? Should Muslims wait for the coming or return of someone?

33:40 Muhammad is not the father of (any) one of your men, but the Messenger of Allah and Seal of the Prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing.

(The Verse states that Muhammad is the last Prophet, but it does not say that he is the last Messenger. According to Verse 3:81, the Prophet receives of the Book, and the Messenger confirms that which is with the Prophet. So, according to this distinction, between “Prophet” and “Messenger”, Muhammad being the last Prophet would imply that the Qur’an is the final revelation, while a Messenger is someone who is sent with clear proofs (57:25, 35:25); and is to be followed and obeyed (7:158, 14:44, 36:20, 2:285, 24:47, 26:125, 5:92, 4:64, 64:12))(Note: all Prophets are Messengers, but not all Messengers are Prophets. See the link below “Is there any difference between a Messenger and a Prophet?”)(Allah knows best)

11:1 Alif Lam Ra. A Book whose Verses are perfected, moreover explained in detail from (the One Who is) All-Wise, All-Aware.

(According to Verse 11:1, the Verses are perfected, and according to Verse 5:3, the religion is perfected, and the “Favor” is completed)(Allah knows best)

20:88 Then he brought forth for them a calf's body which had a lowing sound, and they said, "This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot." ... 20:91 They said, "Never we will cease being devoted to it until Moses returns to us."

(Another point is that you cannot use the absence of a Messenger as an excuse to sin. It is said that the coming of someone would unite Muslims, while God commands in the Qur’an not to be divided. So, you have to obey and unite together now, whether someone is coming or not. Verse 42:13 says “to establish the religion and not to be divided therein”)(Allah knows best)

6:159 Indeed, those who divide their religion and become sects, you are not with them in anything. Their affair is only with Allah, then He will inform them of what they used to do.

42:13 He has ordained for you of the religion what He enjoined upon Noah, and that which We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not to be divided therein. Difficult for the polytheists is that to which you call them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns.

3:103 And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together, and do not be divided. And remember the Favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He made friendship between your hearts then by His Favor you became brothers. And you were on the brink of the pit of the Fire, then He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes clear for you His Verses so that you may be guided. … 3:105 And do not be like those who became divided and differed after the clear proofs came to them. And they will have a great punishment.

6:124 And when a Sign comes to them they say, "We will never believe until we are given like that which was given (to the) Messengers (of) Allah." Allah knows best where He places His Message. Those who committed crimes will (be) afflict(ed) (by) a humiliation and a severe punishment from Allah for what they used to plot.

7:147 And those who denied Our Signs and (the) meeting (of) the Hereafter - worthless (are) their deeds. Will they be recompensed except (for) what they used to do?

(You can be saved from Hell according to what you do. And you have the Qur’an with you, which is an explanation of all things, a guidance and Mercy (12:111). The Qur’an does not say anything about waiting for someone, nor is an incomplete religion)(Allah knows best)

12:111 Verily, in their stories is a lesson for men of understanding. It is not an invented narration, but a confirmation of that which was before it and a detailed explanation of all things, and a guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

101:6 Then as for (him) whose scales are heavy, 101:7 Then he (will be) in a pleasant life. 101:8 But as for (him) whose scales are light, 101:9 His abode (will be the) Pit. 101:10 And what will make you know what it is? 101:11 A Fire, intensely hot.

(It is also said that the person who is coming is a reformer, while Islam is not to be reformed, and does not need any reformation. See the article below “Does Islam need a reformation?”)(Islam is not about reformations, but Muslims follow the religion of Abraham (16:123, 3:95, 6:161), which is also the religion of Isaac and Jacob (12:38), while, according to Verse 2:135, Jews and Christians don’t)(Allah knows best)

10:7 Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are pleased with the life of the world, and feel satisfied with it, and those - they are heedless of Our Signs.

(People should expect the Day of Resurrection/Judgment. In that regard, they have to do good deeds in this world)(Allah knows best)
