Will Jews and Christians enter Paradise or go to Hell? Will Jews and Christians be saved from Hell?

Will Jews and Christians enter Paradise or go to Hell? Will Jews and Christians be saved from Hell?

2:62 Indeed, those who believed, and those who became Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians - who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteous deeds, so for them is their reward with their Lord; and they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

(One interpretation is that the Verse refers to those Jews, Christians, and Sabians, who did not know about the Qur’an, or lived prior to when the Qur’an was revealed. Then, the Jews and Christians who submitted (3:85), and believed (2:62), for them is their reward (2:62). The Verse specifies “who believed”, so, for example, trinitarian Christians (Those who say that Jesus is God or God is three and so), they are not believers (5:17 and 5:72-73))(Verse 16:104 supports the interpretation that Verse 2:62 refers to Jews and Christians prior to the Qur’an or who did not know about the Qur’an, because Verse 16:104 says, “Indeed, those who do not believe in the Verses of Allah, Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment”)(Note: the Sabians are all unaffiliated people to any religion. See the link below, “Who are the Sabians mentioned in the Qur’an?”)(Allah knows best)

5:69 Indeed, those who believed and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians, whoever believed in Allah and the Last Day and did good deeds, then no fear on them, nor will they grieve.

(Likewise, Verse 5:69 specifies “those who believed”. Verse 5:69 could refer, for example, to early Christians who were not trinitarians or they did not commit idolatry, and the early people who did not read or receive the Qur’an, and those who believed in God, the Last Day and did good deeds (5:69),...)(Allah knows best)

5:72 They certainly disbelieve who say, "Indeed Allah - He is the Messiah, the son of Mary." While the Messiah said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates partners with Allah, then surely Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode will be the Fire. And there will be no helpers for the wrongdoers.

(There is distinction between Christians who are believers and Christians who are disbelievers. The Verses specify it: “those who believed”(2:62 and 5:69), and “they certainly disbelieve who say ...”(5:72), so a party would obtain their reward, another party would be punished)(Allah knows best)

3:85 And whoever seeks other than Islam as religion - then never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be from the losers.

(“Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “submission (to God)”)(Islam is not a new religion, but it is the religion preached by Jesus and all Messengers. According to Luke 22:42, Jesus said “yet not my will, but yours be done”. And Abraham was to sacrifice his son, etc.; that’s Islam / Submission (to God))(Allah knows best)

3:19 Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the Verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in account.

3:52 Then when Jesus perceived disbelief from them, he said, "Who (will be) my helpers (of) Allah." The disciples said "We (will be the) helpers (of) Allah, we believe in Allah and bear witness that we are Muslims.

("Muslim" is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)")(The early “Christians” declared themselves Muslims/Submitters (to God))(According to Acts 11:26, the disciples were called “Christians” first in Antioch, so that name was innovated by people, time after Jesus)(Allah knows best)

57:27 Then We sent Our Messengers on their footsteps and We followed with Jesus, son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. But the monasticism they innovated - We did not prescribe it for them - only seeking the pleasure of Allah, but they did not observe it with right observance. So We gave those who believed among them their reward, but most of them are defiantly disobediently.

(Verse 57:27 specifies “those who believed”. They would obtain their reward, despite of their innovation of monasticism, and under the condition that they are believers. Jews and Christians are required to follow the Qur’an, because Muhammad was sent to the whole mankind, and those who deny the Verses of the Qur’an are disbelievers (2:91, 52:33-34, 46:10, 10:95-97, 23:38-39, 40:70))(Verse 57:27 could be complemented by Verse 33:5, which says, “there is no blame upon you if you made a mistake therein, but what your hearts intended”)(Allah knows best)

33:5 Call them by their fathers; it is more just near Allah. But if you do not know their fathers - then they are your brothers in religion and your friends. But there is no blame upon you if you made a mistake therein, but what your hearts intended. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

4:171 O People of the Book, do not commit excess in your religion and do not say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Glory be to Him, that He (should) have a son for Him. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. … 4:173 Then as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, then He will give them their reward in full and give them more from His Bounty. And as for those who disdained and were arrogant, then He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector and not any helper.

(According to Verse 5:72 and 4:171, trinitarians are disbelievers)(Those Christians who reject the trinity could go to Paradise (e.g. early Christians))(Allah knows best)

5:65 And if that (the) People (of) the Book (had) believed and feared, surely We (would have) removed from them their evil (deeds) and surely We (would have) admitted them (to) Gardens (of) Bliss.

3:110 You are the best of people raised for mankind - enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong and believing in Allah. And if the People of the Book had believed, surely it would have been good for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient. … 3:113 They are not the same; among the People of the Book is a community standing (and) reciting the Verses of Allah in the hours of night and they prostrate. 3:114 They believe in Allah and the Last Day and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and they hasten in good deeds. And those are from the righteous.

(There is distinction between Christians in these Verses)(Allah knows best)

6:14 Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He Who feeds and is not fed?" Say, "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first who submit and ‘Do not be of the polytheists/associators’."

(Christians who worship Jesus or any other created being, instead or besides God, then he is associating partners with Allah. “Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode will be the Fire” (5:72). So, they go to Hell, unless they repent before they die. See the link below “Is shirk forgivable? (shirk = idolatry or polytheism)”)(Allah knows best)

32:18 Then is one who is a believer like (him) who is defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.

9:30 And the Jews said, "Uzair is son of Allah." And the Christians said, "Messiah is son of Allah." That is their saying with their mouths, they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before. (May) Allah destroy them. How deluded are they.

(According to Verse 9:30, the concept “son of God” is not from God, but from those who disbelieved before)(Allah knows best)

62:6 Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah , excluding the people, then wish for death, if you are truthful."

5:18 And the Jews and the Christians said "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Nay, you are human beings from among those He created. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And for Allah is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the final return.

(God creates, He does not beget His creation (112:3). So, mankind is not children of God, but God’s creation)(Some non-Muslims think that they have a license to sin, they say that they are children of God, and they follow their own desires. They are not children of God, but creation of God. Those who sin and do not repent, they are to be punished for their sins)(Allah knows best)

17:15 Whoever is guided then is only guided for his soul. And whoever goes astray then only goes astray against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And We will not punish until We have sent a Messenger.

(Christians innovated that they would be saved by grace through Faith alone, regardless of their deeds, while according to Matthew 5:17, “do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”; according to Matthew 23:2-3, “the teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.”; according to Acts 15:5 and 15:20, early Christians followed the Law; according to James 2:14-26, “faith without works is dead”)(See the article below titled “Jesus vs. Paul”, which is about Christian concepts invented by Paul)(Allah knows best)

32:20 But as for those who are defiantly disobedient, then their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to come out from it, they will be returned in it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny."

(The Jews do not believe in Hell, but all Messengers said that the disbelievers would be punished eternally in the fire, so “it will be said to them, “Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny.”” (32:20))(The Jews might have failed to remove everything about Hell in the Hebrew Bible, because the Hebrew Bible still contains something about “hell”: according to Daniel 12:2, “multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt”, Psalm 145:20 “The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked He will destroy”, Psalm 78:65-66 “then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a warrior wakes from the stupor of wine. He beat back his enemies; he put them to everlasting shame”)(See also the link below “How the Qur’an corrects Judaism?”)(Allah knows best)

5:13 So for their breaking of their covenant We cursed them and We made their hearts hard. They distort words from their places, and forgot (wanasu) a part of what they were reminded of. And you will not cease to discover treachery from them except a few of them. But forgive them and overlook. Indeed, Allah loves the good-doers.

(Verse 5:13 says about the Jews that they “forgot a part of what they were reminded of”)(The root of “nasu” (forgot) is “Nun-Siin-Ya”, and it means “to forsake / forget / neglect, pretend to forget”. So, the Jews abandoned that belief (e.g. Hell), according to their desires (2:120))(Allah knows best)

2:120 And the Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the Guidance of Allah is the Guidance." And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of the knowledge, you will have neither any protector from Allah nor any helper.

2:135 And they said, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say, "Nay, the religion of Abraham, the upright; and he was not of those who associated partners."

(According to Verse 2:135, Jews and Christians do not follow the true religion anymore. They are required to follow the Qur’an, because Jesus was sent to the children of Israel, and he announced them the coming of Muhammad (61:6). On the other hand, Jesus was not sent to those Christians who are not from the Children of Israel; this is supported by Matthew 15:24, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel”. Christians must follow the Qur’an as well, because Muhammad was sent to all mankind (7:158, 34:28, 3:96, 21:107, 6:19, 36:70), including Jews and Christians; and because the Qur’an confirms previous Scriptures, and is a Criterion over them, because People of the Book / Bible differ among themselves, and they differ from the Book)(See the link below, “Is Muhammad mentioned in the Bible?”)(Allah knows best)

9:113 (It) is not for the Prophet and those who believe that they ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even though they were near of kin, after (what) has become clear to them that they are the companions of the Hellfire.

(Some people say that mankind cannot know who is going to Hell, but according to Verse 9:113, it can become clear to people who is going to Hell, because the Qur’an tells you the conditions to go to Hell)(See the article below “Will non-Muslims go to hell forever?”)(Allah knows best)

57:19 And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, they (are) the truthful, and the martyrs (are) with their Lord. For them (is) their reward and their light. But those who disbelieve and deny Our Verses, those (are the) companions (of) the Hellfire.

6:27 And if you (could) see when they are made to stand by/(before) the Fire, then they (will) say, "Oh, would that we were sent back, and we would not deny (the) Signs/Verses (of) our Lord and [we] would be among the believers."

(Those who deny the Verses of the Qur’an are disbelievers (2:91, 52:33-34, 46:10, 10:95-97, 23:38-39, 40:70). Disbelievers are going to Hell (57:19, 6:27))(Allah knows best)

4:160 Then for the wrongdoing of those who were Jews, We made unlawful for them good things which had been lawful for them, and for their hindering many from the way of Allah. 4:161 And for their taking of usury while certainly they were forbidden from it and for their consuming wealth of people wrongfully. And We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

3:187 And when Allah took a Covenant (from) those who were given the Book, "You certainly make it clear to [the] mankind and (do) not conceal it. Then they threw it behind their backs and [they] exchanged [with] it (for) a little price. And wretched (is) what they purchase. 3:188 (Do) not think (that) those who rejoice in what (they have) brought and they love that they/(to) be praised for what they (have) not do/(done) - so (do) not think (that) they (will) escape from the punishment; and for them (is a) painful punishment.

4:168 Indeed, those who disbelieved and did wrong, Allah will not [to] forgive them [and] not/(nor) will He guide them (to) a way, 4:169 Except the way to Hell, abiding in it forever. And that is easy for Allah.

8:70 O Prophet, say to whoever (is) in your hands of the captives, "If Allah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you. And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

68:44 So/(then) leave Me and whoever denies this Statement, We will progressively lead them from where they (do) not know.

98:6 Indeed, those who disbelieve, from (the) People (of) the Book and the polytheists, (will be) in (the) Fire (of) Hell abiding eternally therein. Those [they] (are the) worst (of) [the] creatures.

30:31 Turning to Him, and fear Him and establish the prayer and (do) not be of the polytheists 30:32 Of those who divide their religion and become sects, each party rejoicing in what they have.

(You cannot become a sect (e.g. Being Christian or Jew, instead of submitting to God (aka Muslim)). If you differ from the religion, it implies polytheism (aka obeying people/Satan instead of obeying God))(Allah knows best)

9:31 They have taken their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah, son of Mary, as Lords besides Allah. And they were not commanded except to worship One God. There is no god except Him. Glory be to Him from what they associate.
