Is there mythology in Islam?

Is there mythology in Islam?

12:111 Verily, in their stories is a lesson for men of understanding. It is not an invented narration, but a confirmation of that which was before it and a detailed explanation of all things, and a guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

(The word mythology is defined as a set of legends, stories or beliefs, especially ones that have a religious or cultural tradition. The word can have a pejorative sense and can refer to a popular belief that is probably not true)(There are no myths in Islam, because everything is true in the Qur’an. Thinking otherwise would imply disbelief)(Allah knows best)

25:5 And they say, "Tales of the former people which he has had written down, and they are dictated to him morning and evening." 25:6 Say, "He has sent it down, the One Who knows the secret in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

6:114 "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge, while He is the One Who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?" And those to whom We gave the Book know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so do not be among the doubters.

2:285 The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His Angels and His Books and His Messengers. "We make no distinction between any of His Messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the destination."

28:44 And you were not on the western side when We decreed to Moses the Commandment, and you were not among the witnesses.

(They were not with the Prophet, they just speculate about the events)(The Qur’an is an evidence in Itself that the stories are true. See the links below “The Qur’an and Mathematics” and “Is the Qur'an scientifically correct?”)(Allah knows best)

53:28 And they have no knowledge about it. They do not follow but assumption. And indeed, the assumption does not avail against the truth at all.

18:13 We narrate to you their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.

2:47 O Children of Israel, remember My Favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you over the worlds. ... 2:50 And when We parted the sea for you, then We saved you, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking.

(It was an event registered in the Torah, and the Qur’an confirms that the Children of Israel witnessed that event (“We drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking” (2:50)). It was a favor to them, at that time, not a common event, but the One Who created everything is Able to part the sea, because God is All-Powerful over everything (2:20). So, in regard to the miracles related in the Scriptures, it would be incorrect to say that the One Who created “everything” could be unable to, for example, parting the sea, while He created “everything” out of “nothing”. Common events are as surprising (and “as impossible”) as uncommon events; the One Who created everything is Able to change or repeat or originate without precedent, if He wills)(Some disbelievers wrongly think that chaos, nature or time are able to create, while they don’t, so disbelievers are the ones who believe in fairytales)(See the link below “Questions atheists can't answer”)(Allah knows best)

3:189 And to Allah (is the) dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is All-Powerful over everything.

(The creation itself is a miracle. For example, a human was a piece of lifeless “earth / matter” who was made to live and speak. So, a human speaking was as “impossible” as any event in the Scriptures, but God wills it to happen, and made it possible)(Allah knows best)

6:101 Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have a son while He does not have a companion, and He created everything? And He is All-Knower of everything. 6:102 That is Allah, your Lord, there is no god except Him, the Creator of everything, so worship Him. And He is the Guardian of everything.

2:50 And when We parted the sea for you, then We saved you, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking.

17:101 And We had certainly given Moses nine clear Signs, so ask the Children of Israel when he came to them, then Pharaoh said to him, "O Moses, indeed, I think you are bewitched." 17:102 He said, "Verily, you know none has sent down these except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed, O Pharaoh, I surely think you are destroyed."

3:44 That is from the news of the unseen - We reveal it to you. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them takes charge of Mary; nor were you with them when they were disputing.

(Those who do not believe in the stories, they were not there, so they speculate)(On the other hand, the Qur’an is an evidence in Itself that the stories are true. See the links below “The Qur’an and Mathematics” and “Is the Qur'an scientifically correct?”)(Allah knows best)

46:34 And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire, "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."

32:20 But as for those who are defiantly disobedient, then their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to come out from it, they will be returned in it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny."

56:94 And burning in Hellfire. 56:95 Indeed, this is surely the certain truth.

102:6 Surely you will see the Hellfire. 102:7 Then surely you will see it with the eye of certainty.

2:26 Indeed, Allah is not ashamed to set forth an example even of a mosquito and something above it. Then as for those who believed, they will know that it is the truth from their Lord. And those who disbelieved will say, “what did Allah intend by this example? He lets go astray many by it and He guides many by it. And He does not let go astray by it except the defiantly disobedient.

10:15 And when Our Verses are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us said, "Bring us a Qur’an other than this or change it." Say, "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I follow not except what is revealed to me. Indeed, If I were to disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a Great Day."

(The Qur’an is scientifically correct and there are no contradictions (See the links below); it also proves that the Qur’an is from God, and the stories in the Qur’an really happened)(Allah knows best)

10:37 And it was not that this Qur’an could be produced by other than Allah, but (it is) a confirmation of that which was before it and a detailed explanation of the Book, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.

5:13 So for their breaking of their covenant We cursed them and We made their hearts hard. They distort words from their places, and forgot a part of what they were reminded of. And you will not cease to discover treachery from them except a few of them. But forgive them and overlook. Indeed, Allah loves the good-doers.

(According to Verse 5:13, the Jews “forgot a part of what they were reminded of”. For example, Jews do not believe in Hell, but all Messengers said that the disbelievers would be punished eternally in the fire)(The Jews did not erase or failed to erase everything about “hell” from the scripture, according to Daniel 12:2, “multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt”, Psalm 145:20 “The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked He will destroy”, Psalm 78:65-66 “then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a warrior wakes from the stupor of wine. He beat back his enemies; he put them to everlasting shame”)(In order to discredit God’s religion, some people try to explain when and where the ideas about hell originated. So, some people say that elements of Greek culture began to influence Jewish religious thought, or that Zoroastrianism influenced other religious and philosophical systems (concept of hell, etc.). But, in fact, the existence of Hell is revealed by God, but many people actually reject that which they do not like. But, Messengers came with evidences/miracles from God, so they spoke the truth)(Allah knows best)

33:22 And when the believers saw the confederates, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.” And it did not increase them except in faith and submission.

41:43 Nothing is said to you except what was said to the Messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is Possessor of forgiveness, and Possessor of painful penalty.

3:50 And confirming that which was before me of the Torah, and so that I make lawful for you some of that which was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me. … 3:52 Then when Jesus perceived disbelief from them, he said, "Who (will be) my helpers (of) Allah." The disciples said "We (will be the) helpers (of) Allah, we believe in Allah and bear witness that we are Muslims.

(All Messengers spoke about the punishment of the fire in the Hereafter, and this concept causes people rejection, and, as Jews did, it was ultimately denied, distorted and/or corrupted)(Verse 45:17 says, “And We gave them clear proofs of the matter. And they did not differ except after knowledge came to them”)(Allah knows best)
