What is the difference between Jinn, Satan and Iblis?

What is the difference between Jinn, Satan and Iblis?

18:50 And when We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam," so they prostrated except Iblees. (He) was of the jinn, and he rebelled against the Command of his Lord. Then, will you take him and his offspring as protectors other than Me, while they are enemies to you? Wretched is the exchange for the wrongdoers.

(The word Jinn means “hidden” (6:76). Jinn was created from fire (55:15). Iblees was of the jinn (18:50), and he was Satan (14:22, 15:32-42, 16:98-99, 17:61-64 and 34:20-21); but not all jinns are Satan or follow Satan, but some jinns are Muslims (aka “submitted” (to God)), while others aren’t (72:14))(Allah knows best)

6:76 So when the night covered (janna) him, he saw a star. He said, "This is my Lord." But when it set, he said "I do not like the ones that set."

55:15 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

72:14 And that among us are Muslims and among us are unjust. And whoever submits, then those have sought the right path.

17:61 And when We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblees. He said, "Shall I prostrate to (one) whom You created from clay?" 17:62 He said, "Do You see this whom You have honored above me? If You give me respite till the Day of Resurrection, I will surely destroy his offspring, except a few." 17:63 He said, "Go, and whoever among them follows you, then indeed, Hell is your recompense – an ample recompense. 17:64 And incite whoever you can among them with your voice, and assault them with your cavalry and infantry and be a partner in the wealth and the children, and promise them." And Satan does not promise them except delusion.

(These Verses confirm that Iblees is Satan: 14:22, 15:32-42, 16:98-99, 17:61-64 and 34:20-21)(Iblees was a jinn who did not prostrate to Adam. He is active after that event, because he asked to be delayed until the Day of Resurrection, in order to destroy the descendants of Adam (17:62). Besides this event, Iblees is also mentioned by name in a much later event - at the time of the ancient land of Saba (34:15, 20), ruled by the Queen of Saba)(Allah knows best)

15:32 He said, "O Iblees, what is for you that you are not with those who prostrated?" ... 15:39 He said, "My Lord, because You misled me, surely, I will make (evil) fair-seeming to them in the earth, and I will mislead them all ... 15:42 Indeed, My slaves, you do not have any authority over them, except those who follow you of those who go astray."
34:20 And certainly, Iblis found true his assumption about them, so they followed him, except a group of believers. 34:21 And he had no authority over them except that We (might) make evident who believes in the Hereafter from (one) who is in doubt about it. And your Lord is a Guardian over all things.

16:98 So when you recite the Qur’an, seek refuge in Allah from the Satan, the accursed. 16:99 Indeed he does not have any authority over those who believe and put their trust in their Lord.
(Verses 14:22, 15:32-42, 16:98-99 and 34:20-21 are similar; it confirms that Iblees is Satan, because both names are used in the same matter)(Allah knows best)

14:22 And Satan will say, when the matter has been decided, "Indeed, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no any authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I (can)not be your helper, nor (can) you be my helper. Indeed, I deny your association of me before. Indeed, the wrongdoers, for them is a painful punishment."

(Iblees is not an Angel or fallen angel. See the link below, “Which category of creature does the Qur’an put ‘Iblees’ into? Was Iblees an Angel or a Jinn?”)(Allah knows best)
