Who will men be with in Paradise?

Who will men be with in Paradise?

43:69 Those who believed in Our Verses and were submissive. 43:70 Enter Paradise, you and your spouses delighted."

52:20 Reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair ones with large eyes. 52:21 And those who believed and their offspring followed them in faith, We will join them with their offspring, and We will not deprive them in anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is pledged.

(According to Verses 43:69, 13:23 and 40:8, the spouses admitted to Paradise are those who believed, the righteous ones and so. In the case of the disbelievers, according to Verse 66:10, the wife of Noah, and the wife of Lot would enter the Fire. Verses 43:70 and 52:20 are not mutually exclusive, but the two cases will occur: entering with the “righteous” spouses, and marrying fair/purified ones)(The Verses of the Qur’an are not mutually exclusive but complement each other, so the Qur’an must be read and interpreted as a whole)(Allah knows best)

13:23 Gardens of Eden, they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offsprings. And the Angels will enter upon them from every gate,

(Verse 13:23 specifies that they will enter with “whoever were righteous among … their spouses ...”)(Allah knows best)

40:8 Our Lord, and admit them to Gardens of Eden which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, and their spouses, and their offspring. Indeed, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

66:10 Allah presents an example for those who disbelieved - the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous slaves, but they both betrayed them, so they did not avail both of them from Allah in anything, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter." 66:11 And Allah presents an example for those who believed - the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me a house near You in Paradise, and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the people, the wrongdoers."

(Likewise, the wife of Pharaoh might enter Paradise, without her husband)(Allah knows best)

2:25 And give good news to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, that for them (will be) Gardens, under which rivers flow. Every time they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And they will be given therefrom in resemblance; And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein forever.

44:52 In gardens and springs, 44:53 Wearing garments of fine silk and heavy silk, facing each other. 44:54 Thus. And We will marry them (to) companions with beautiful eyes. 44:55 They will call therein for every (kind) (of) fruit, secure. 44:56 They will not taste death therein except the first death. And He will protect them from the punishment of the Hellfire,

55:54 Reclining on couches, whose inner linings are of brocade, and the fruit of both the gardens is near. 55:55 So which (of the) favors (of) your Lord will you both deny? 55:56 In them (will be) companions of modest gaze, (whom) neither man nor jinn has touched before them. … 55:70 In them (are) good and beautiful ones. 55:71 So which (of the) favors (of) your Lord will you both deny? 55:72 Fair ones restrained in the pavilions. 55:73 So which (of the) favors (of) your Lord will you both deny? 55:74 Neither man nor jinn has touched them before them.

78:31 Indeed, for the righteous is success, 78:32 Gardens and grapevines, 78:33 And splendid companions well-matched,

56:35 Indeed, We have produced them into a creation, 56:36 And We have made them virgins, 56:37 Devoted, well-matched. 56:38 For the companions of the right, 56:39 A company of the former people, 56:40 And a company of the later people.

(In regard to “each man having 72 virgins in Paradise”, it is a controversial subject among non-Muslims, but such number is not supported in the Qur’an. On the other hand, in Christianity, according to Matthew 19:29, it implicitly suggests that each man will have 100 wives; “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life” (Matthew 19:29))(In regard to Judaism, it supports polygamy (2 Chronicles 11:21, Genesis 4:19, 1 Kings 11:3); for example, 2 Chronicles 11:21 says, “Rehoboam loved Maakah daughter of Absalom more than any of his other wives and concubines. In all, he had eighteen wives and sixty concubines”; in regard to Solomon, 1 Kings 11:3 says, “he had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines”)(It is said that “Talmud Yalkut Shimoni, Bereshit 20” speaks about having sixty servants in the Garden on Eden, but according to a translation in the book title “Unum” by “William Sutherland”, it says that “when a righteous arrives, they (the servants) remove clothes in which (they) had been buried, and clothe (them) in white robes”, so it does not speak about sexual relations, wives or concubines)(Allah knows best)
