Are animals evil?

Are animals evil?

7:179 And certainly We have created many jinn and men for Hell. They have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like cattle, nay, they are more astray. Those - they are the heedless.

(Those men are compared to animals in having no understanding (7:179), in disobeying laws (7:163), in denying Signs (62:5, 7:176),... . According to Verses 24:41, 17:44 and 22:18, animals have their own way of worship; on the other hand, men is entrusted with the Scripture, but if they do not follow it, they would be like an animal having a book (62:5), the animal is not able to understand or read a Scripture, while men can read it, then many men do not follow it, like an animal would do in regard to a book. So, in that sense, animals and humans would be astray, but animals were not entrusted with a book, they have their own way of worship, so, in that sense, men are more astray. The comparison between humans and animals is an example; that is confirmed by Verse 62:5, “the likeness of those who were entrusted with the Torah then they did not bore it, is like the donkey who carries books. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the Signs of Allah.”)(So, the Qur’an does not say that animals are evil, as some non-Muslims falsely claim)(Allah knows best)

7:163 And ask them about the town which was situated by the sea, when they transgressed in the (matter of) Sabbath, when their fish came to them visibly on the day of their Sabbath and the day they had no Sabbath (they did) not come to them. Thus We test them because they were defiantly disobeying. ... 7:165 So when they forgot what they had been reminded with, We saved those who forbade evil, and We seized those who wronged with a wretched punishment, because they were defiantly disobeying. 7:166 So when they exceeded all bounds about what they were forbidden from it, We said to them, "Be apes, despised."

22:18 Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment is justly due. And whoever Allah humiliates, then for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills.

62:5 The likeness of those who were entrusted with the Torah then they did not bore it, is like the donkey who carries books. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the Signs of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

7:176 And if We willed, surely We could have raised him with these but he adhered to the earth and followed his desires. So his example is like the example of the dog, if you attack him, he lolls out his tongue or if you leave him, he lolls out his tongue. That is the example of the people who denied Our Signs. So relate the story so that they may reflect.

2:65 And indeed, you knew those among you who transgressed in the (matter of) Sabbath. So We said to them, "Be apes, despised." 2:66 So We made it a deterrent punishment for those in front of them and those after them and an admonition for those who fear.

5:60 Say, "Shall I inform you of (something) worse than that as recompense from Allah? Those whom Allah has cursed and He became angry with him, and made of them apes and swines, and (those who) worshiped the false deities. Those are worse in position and farthest astray from the even way."

24:41 Do you not see that Allah is glorified by whoever is in the heavens and the earth and the birds with wings outspread? Each one verily knows its prayer and its glorification. And Allah is All-Knower of what they do.

17:44 The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them glorify Him. And there is not a thing except glorifies His Praise, but you do not understand their glorification. Indeed, He is Ever-Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving."

8:55 Indeed, (the) worst (of) the living creatures near Allah (are) those who disbelieve, and they (will) not believe.
