Does honey have healing properties?

Does honey have healing properties?

16:68 And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take houses among the mountains, and among the trees, and in that which they construct. 16:69 Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord made smooth." Comes forth from their bellies a drink of varying colors, in it is a healing for mankind. Indeed, in that is surely a Sign for a people who reflect.

(The Qur’an says about honey, “in it is a healing for mankind”. According to the article “Honey: its medicinal property and antibacterial activity” at “ncbi(dot)nlm(dot)nih(dot)gov”, the honey “has been known to possess antimicrobial property as well as wound-healing activity. The healing property of honey is due to the fact that it offers antibacterial activity, maintains a moist wound condition, and its high viscosity helps to provide a protective barrier to prevent infection. Its immunomodulatory property is relevant to wound repair too”. And according to that website’s article “Does honey have the characteristics of natural cancer vaccine?”, “Published studies thus far have shown that honey improves immune status, has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties and promotes healing of chronic ulcers and wounds and scavenge toxic free radicals. Recently honey has been shown to have anti-cancer properties in cell cultures and in animal models”)(Allah knows best)
