“Silver”
in the Qur’an
76:16
Crystal-clear (qawarira), of (min) silver (fiddatin). They
will determine (qaddaruha) its measure (taqdiran).
(Chapter
76 (“Ad-Dahr (The Time) / “Al-Insan” (Man)) has 247 words
(including the “Bismillah”), and has three mentions of the word
“silver”. The middle word of the Chapter is word number 124 (123
+ 1 + 123 = 247), which is “silver”. And it is in a Verse that is
the middle Verse of the Chapter (Verse 16 of 31+1). Chapter 76 has 31
Verses, but considering “Bismillah”, then 32 / 2 = 16); and
“silver” is the third of five words of Verse 76:16 (qawarira min
fiddatin qaddaruha taqdiran), so it is also the middle word of the
