Is
God similar to anyone or anything?
112:1
Say, "He is Allah, the One. 112:2 Allah, the Eternal, the
Absolute. 112:3 He neither begets nor is begotten. 112:4 And nor
is there to Him any equivalent."
55:27
But the Face of your Lord, the Owner of Majesty and Honor will
remain.
(God
is not like His creation. Some disbelievers wrongly compare the
Creator to the creation. In regard to Verses 55:27, 20:39, 5:64,
38:74, 39:67, they wrongly think of a human hand, eye or face, but
there is no any equivalent to God (112:4). God is the Creator of
everything (6:102), the Eternal (112:2), on the other hand, mankind
was created by God from dust (3:59), clay (15:26), etc., and mankind
was nothing before (19:67). So, mankind is creation, and is composed
of creation)(Some assumption is sin (49:12). And Verse 4:171 says “do
not say about Allah except the truth”. And Verse 5:72 says “Indeed,
he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him
Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire”)(Allah knows best)
2:26
Indeed, Allah is not ashamed to set forth an example even of a
mosquito and something above it. Then as for those who believed, they
will know that it is the truth from their Lord. And those who
disbelieved will say, “what did Allah intend by this
example? He lets go astray many by it and He guides
many by it. And He does not let go astray by it
except the defiantly disobedient.
(Verse
2:26 speaks about those who wonder about examples which they do not
understand, it leads them astray. Those who disbelieve follow a
purpose)(Allah knows best)
32:13
And if We had willed, surely We would have given every soul its
guidance, but the Word from Me will come true, "I
will fill Hell with jinn and men all together.
20:39
"That cast him into the chest then cast it into the river, then
let the river cast it onto the bank; he will be taken by an enemy to
Me, and an enemy to him." And I cast over you love from Me, and
that you may be brought up under My Eye.
5:64
And the Jews said, "The Hand of Allah is chained." Their
hands are chained, and they have been cursed for what they said. Nay,
His Hands are stretched out, He spends how He wills. And that
which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase
many of them in rebellion and disbelief. And We have cast among them
enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection. Every time they
kindled the fire of war, Allah extinguished it. And they strive in
the earth spreading corruption. And Allah does not love the
corrupters.
38:74
Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became of the disbelievers. 38:75
He said, "O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating to (one)
whom I created with My Hands? Are you arrogant or are you of
the exalted ones."
39:67
And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the
earth entirely (will be) in His Grip on the Day of Resurrection, and
the heavens (will be) folded in His Right Hand. Glory be to
Him, and High is He above what they associate.
4:171
O People of the Book, do not commit excess in your religion and do
not say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son
of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed
to Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His
messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better
for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Glory be to Him, that He
(should) have a son for Him. To Him whatever is in the heavens and
whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of
affairs.
3:66
Here you are - those who argued about that of which you have
knowledge. Then why do you argue about that of
which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows, while you do not
know.
5:72
They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, the
son of Mary” while the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel,
worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Indeed, he who associates
others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his
refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any
helpers.
49:12
O you who believe, avoid much assumption. Indeed, some
assumption is sin. And do not spy and do not backbite each other.
Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, you
would hate it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Oft-Returning, Most
Merciful.
7:143
And when Moses came to Our appointed place and his Lord spoke to him,
he said, "O my Lord, show me (that) I
may look at You." He said, "you (can) never
see Me, but look at the mountain; if it remains in its place,
then you will see Me." But when his Lord revealed (His) Glory to
the mountain, He made it crumbled to dust and Moses fell down
unconscious. And when he recovered, he said, "Glory be to You, I
turn to you, and I am the first of the believers."
28:88
And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except
Him. Everything (will be) destroyed except His Face.
His is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned.
26:97
"By Allah, indeed, we were surely in clear error
26:98 When we equated you with (the) Lord (of) the
worlds. 26:99 And no(ne) misguided us except the
criminals.
