Does hearing develop before vision?

Does hearing develop before vision?

76:2 Indeed, We created man from a drop, a mixture, We test him; so We made (for) him hearing (and) sight.

(Verse 76:2 firstly mentions “hearing”, then “sight”. This order is in accordance with science, because the hearing develops before vision. According to the book “Children’s thinking: cognitive development and individual differences” by David F. Bjorklund and Kayla B. Causey, “In all vertebrates, hearing develops before vision”)(Note: the word wa” (and) does not indicate order in Arabic. But the word and” is actually not mentioned in Verse 76:2, but the Verse literally says hearing, sight”. So “hearing” and “sight” are ordered in this Verse. On the other hand, and” is mentioned in Verse 23:78 (“hearing and sight”). Despite “and” does not indicate order in Verse 23:78, but “hearing” and “sight” are in the correct order of development in Verse 76:2)(Allah knows best)

23:78 And He is the One Who produced for you hearing and (wa) sight and (wa) feeling; little thanks you give.
