Can Angels walk the earth?

Can Angels walk the earth?

17:92 Or you cause the sky to fall upon us in pieces, as you have claimed, or you bring Allah and the Angels before (us). 17:93 Or you have a house of ornament or you ascend into the sky. And never we will believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book that we could read." Say, "Glorified is my Lord, "what am I but a human Messenger." 17:94 And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allah sent a human Messenger?" 17:95 Say, "If there were Angels on the earth walking securely, surely We (would) have sent down to them from the heaven an Angel (as) a Messenger." 17:96 Say, "Sufficient is Allah (as) a witness between me and you. Indeed, He is All-Aware, All-Seer of His slaves."

(An interpretation is that the Angels are not on earth as Angels, because Angels do not appear to humans as Angels (19:17, 6:9), so, the hypothetical example is that an Angel would not be sent, unless there were Angels walking securely on earth, then the Angel would be sent to those Angels, just as a human is sent to humans. This interpretation could be confirmed by the question in Verse 6:8, "Why has not an Angel been sent down to him?", so Verse 6:8 tells the reason why an Angel is not sent “if We had sent down an Angel, surely the matter would have been decided; then no respite would have been granted to them”, so it does not say that the reason is that they cannot walk; on the other hand, the question in Verse 17:94 is different, “Has Allah sent a human Messenger?”, then, the answer is "If there were Angels on the earth walking securely...”, so in this case they do not ask for an Angel, but they do not believe, because the Messenger is human, so one interpretation of the response is that the Angels would be sent to the Angels, just as a human Messenger is sent to humans)(Another interpretation is that the Angels cannot walk (securely), but there is no contradiction with other Verses, because they would appear in a human form (19:17, 6:9), so they would be able to walk)(The Angel Messenger would be sent “from heaven”; the Angels can fly (35:1))(Allah knows best)

2:102 And they followed what the devils recited over the kingdom of Solomon. And it was not Solomon who disbelieved, [and] but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was sent down to the two angels in Babylon, Harut and Marut. And they do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are only trial, so do not disbelieve." But they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. And they do not harm anyone with it except by permission of Allah. And they learn what harms them and does not benefit them. And they certainly knew that whoever buys it, would not have in the Hereafter any share. And evil is surely that for which they sold themselves, if they were to know.

(Verse 2:102 does not contradict Verse 17:95 anyhow, because Verse 2:102 does not explicitly say that the two Angels “walked”. And even if the Verse were to say that they walked, other Verses confirm that Angels would appear in the likeness of humans (19:17, 6:9), so they would be able to walk in that form)(Allah knows best)

15:62 He said, "Indeed, you (are) a people unknown." … 15:65 So travel with your family in a portion of the night and follow their backs, and let not anyone among you look back, and go on where you are ordered."

(Verse 15:65 is mentioned by non-Muslims as saying that Angels walk on earth, but the Verse is talking about following his family’s backs. This is confirmed within the Verse “let not anyone among you look back”, so he is behind his family in order to let not “anyone among you” look back. And also says “go on where you are ordered”, as if they were going by themselves, knowing the place they are going, instead of following an Angel as if they did not know the place they are going to)(Even if it was interpreted that they followed the Angels, the Angels appear in the likeness of humans (19:17, 6:9), so the Angels could be able to walk in that form. So, either way, non-Muslims would be wrong. Notice that, in Verse 15:62, Angels are called “people”, rather than “Angels”, so it confirms that they appeared in the likeness of humans)(Allah knows best)

16:113 And certainly came to them a Messenger from among themselves but they denied him; so the punishment seized them while they were wrongdoers.

6:8 And they said, "Why has not an Angel been sent down to him?" And if We had sent down an Angel, surely the matter would have been decided; then no respite would have been granted to them. 6:9 And if We had made him an Angel, certainly We would have made him a man, and certainly We would have obscured them with that in which they are obscuring (themselves).

19:17 Then she took a screen from them. Then We sent to her Our Spirit, then he appeared to her in the likeness of a well-proportioned man.

35:1 All praises be to Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who makes the Angels messengers having wings - two or three or four. He increases in the creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is on everything All-Powerful.

(According to Verses 70:4 and 41:30, the Angels ascend and descend, and according to Verse 35:1, the Angels have wings, so Angels fly)(Allah knows best)

41:30 Indeed, those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," then stand firm – the Angels will descend on them, "Do not fear, and do not grieve but receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised.

70:4 The Angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a Day, its measure is fifty thousand years.

6:109 And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would surely believe in it. Say, "The signs are only with Allah." And what will make you perceive that when it comes, they will not believe.

(The disbelievers ask for an Angel as an excuse for their disbelief (6:8). If they were to see a Sign, they would not believe (6:109, 61:6))(Allah knows best)

43:60 And if We willed, We (could have) surely made Angels among you, succeeding in/(on) the earth.
