The Qur’an on “Isotropy”?

The Qur’an on “Isotropy”?

24:35 Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a brilliant star lit from a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, its oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

(According to the article “isotropy” in “miracles-of-quran(dot)com”, this Verse is interpreted as there are no preferred directions in space. The context of the Verse is space because it mentions “the heavens” and the earth (earth refers to the matter contained in the heavens))(The article “Isotropy” in wikipedia, (in the paragraph “Cosmology”), says “The Big bang theory of the evolution of the observable universe assumes that space is isotropic. It also assumes that space is homogeneous. Here homogeneous means that the universe is the same everywhere (no preferred origin) and isotropic implies that there is no preferred direction”)(Allah knows best)
