How to be a good Christian?

How to be a good Christian?

4:171 O People of the Book, do not commit excess in your religion and do not say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Glory be to Him, that He (should) have a son for Him. To Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

(The word “trinity” is not in the Bible. It is a man-made concept)(Allah knows best)

3:64 Say, "O People of the Book, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we worship none except Allah, nor we associate any partners with Him and that we will not take others as lords besides Allah." Then if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims."

5:72 They certainly disbelieve who say, "Indeed Allah - He is the Messiah, the son of Mary." While the Messiah said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates partners with Allah, then surely Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and his abode will be the Fire. And there will be no helpers for the wrongdoers.

(According to this Verse, trinitarians are disbelievers)(Allah knows best)

5:73 They have certainly disbelieved, those who say, "Indeed, Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except the One God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, a painful punishment will surely afflict those who disbelieved among them. 5:74 So will they not turn to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

25:70 Except he who repents and believes and does righteous deeds, then for those Allah will replace their evil deeds with good ones. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Forgiveness is obtained by repenting, believing and doing righteous deeds (25:70). But, it is not obtained, for example, by believing in a crucifixion. See the articles below: “Is salvation obtained by grace through Faith alone or also by works, following the law?”, and “Did Jesus die for the sins of mankind? Was Jesus crucified?” and “How to obtain forgiveness?”)(Allah knows best)

5:116 And when Allah said, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, "Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?" He said, "Glory be to You, it was not for me to say what I had no right. If I had said it, then surely You would have known it. You know what is in myself, and I do not know what is in Yourself. Indeed, You, You are All-Knower of the unseen. 5:117 I did not say to them except what You commanded me – that, "You worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." And I was over them a witness as long as I was among them, then when You raised me, You were the Watcher over them, and You are Witness over all things.

(Catholics are devoted to “virgin Mary” and they ask her for things, so they commit idolatry by taking Mary as god. Jesus never did it. Jesus only worshiped God)(Allah knows best)

72:20 Say, "Only I call upon my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with Him."

19:35 It is not for Allah to take a son. Glory be to Him, when He decrees a matter, then He only says to it, "Be" and it is.

(God creates. He does not beget His creation)(The concept “son of God”, according to Verse 9:30, is the saying of those who disbelieved before)(See the article below “Is Jesus God or the son of God?”)(Allah knows best)

112:1 Say, "He is Allah, the One. 112:2 Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute. 112:3 He neither begets nor is begotten. 112:4 And nor is there to Him any equivalent."

35:18 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden calls to carry its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he be a near of kin. You can only warn those who fear their Lord - unseen and establish the prayer. And whoever purifies himself, then only he purifies for his own self. And to Allah is the destination.

(Jesus did not bear your sins. This is also supported in the Bible: Deuteronomy 24:16, II Kings 14:6, Jeremiah 31:30, Ezekiel 18:20, Psalms 49:7, Numbers 35:33, Galatians 6:5. But it is not supported by Galatians 6:2 and 1 Peter 2:24, so there are contradictions in the Bible; but Galatians is not reliable because it contradicts itself, and Peter’s testimony is also not reliable, because he is called “Satan” in Matthew 16:23. It is also said that Jesus did not write the Gospel, but is anonymous, and was written in Greek, instead of Aramaic (the language of Jesus), so it is not a reliable source, while the Qur’an has been preserved. See the link below: “Is the Bible corrupted?”)(Allah knows best)

17:15 Whoever is guided then is only guided for his soul. And whoever goes astray then only goes astray against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And We will not punish until We have sent a Messenger.

19:32 And dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me insolent, unblessed. … 19:34 That was Jesus, the son of Mary, a statement of truth about which they dispute.

(According to Luke 2:42, when Jesus was twelve years old, Mary was looking for him. After three days she found him in the temple courts (Luke 2:46), she says “why have you treated us like this?” (Luke 2:48), and she received an insolent answer “why were you searching for me?” (Luke 2:49))(According to the Qur’an, Jesus was not insolent, and was dutiful to his mother)(it seems that the Bible contains stories of two different characters bearing the same name (two “Jesus”). See the link below, “Jesus the Messiah” vs. “Jesus Barabbas”)(Allah knows best)

61:6 And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."

(Jesus was only sent to the Children of Israel. This is supported by Matthew 15:24, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel”. Jews are required to follow the Qur’an because he announced them the coming of Muhammad (61:6). See the link below “Is Muhammad mentioned in the Bible?”)(Jesus was not sent to those Christians who are not Children of Israel. Christians must follow the Qur’an as well because Muhammad was sent to the whole mankind (7:158, 34:28, 3:96, 21:107, 6:19, 36:70), including Jews and Christians)(See the article below “Do the Jews have to follow the Qur’an / Islam?” and “Do Christians have to follow the Qur’an/Islam?”)(Allah knows best)

2:173 He has only forbidden to you dead animals, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. So whoever is forced, without (being) disobedient, nor transgressor, then there is no sin on him. Indeed, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(In regard to food, the Bible, in Acts 15:29, says “you are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things”. Other verses in that sense: Acts 15:20, Acts 21:25, Exodus 34:15, Revelation 2:20, Deuteronomy 14:21, Leviticus 22:8, etc.)(In regard to pig meat, it is forbidden in Deuteronomy 14:8, Leviticus 11:7-8, Isaiah 66:17, Isaiah 65:2-4, etc.)(According to Christians some verses in the Bible declare all foods clean (e.g. Mark 7:15-20), but it contradicts the Torah, the Gospel itself and the Qur’an. Matthew 5:17 says, “do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”, according to Matthew 23:2-3, “the teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.”; according to Acts 15:5 and 15:20, early Christians followed the Law; according to James 2:14-26, “faith without works is dead”)(There is no explicit mention in the Bible of “forbidden” meat to be allowed (e.g. the Bible does not explicitly say that you can eat pig meat); so, allowing all foods is an assumption and a misinterpretation)(Allah knows best)

3:7 He is the One Who revealed to you the Book, in it are Verses which are absolutely clear - they are the foundation of the Book, and others are allegorical. Then as for those in whose hearts is perversity - [so] they follow what is allegorical of it, seeking discord and seeking its interpretation. And none except Allah knows its interpretation. And those who are firm in knowledge, they say, "We believe in it. All is from our Lord." And not will take heed except men of understanding.

(Many Christians follow parables or allegories, instead of the clear verses in the Bible (e.g. it is explicitly forbidden to eat pig in the Bible). Matthew 13:13 and Luke 8:10 confirm that the purpose of the parables is that they may not understand)(Mark 7:15-20 is a parable / allegorical verse; so it does not declare all foods clean, lest it contradicts the Torah, the Gospel Itself and the Qur’an)(See the article below: “To whom was Jesus sent? Was Jesus sent to the gentiles?”)(Allah knows best)

19:16 And mention in the Book Mary, when she withdrew from her family to an eastern place. 19:17 Then she took a screen from them. Then We sent to her Our Spirit, then he appeared to her in the likeness of a well-proportioned man.

(The veil is modesty (24:31) and protection of women (33:59), and Mary also wore it (19:16). The use of veil is supported by the Bible (1 Corinthians 11:6); and there are no objections on using veil in the Torah (Genesis 24:65, Genesis 38:14-15))(Allah knows best)

3:43 "O Mary, be obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow down with those who bow down."

(Muslims bow and prostrate in prayer. This is supported in the Bible (Genesis 43:28, Deuteronomy 9:25, 2 Samuel 1:2, 2 Samuel 9:6, etc.))(Allah knows best)

3:49 And a Messenger to the Children of Israel, "Indeed, I have come to you with a sign from your Lord - that I design for you from clay like the form of the bird, then I breath into it and it becomes a bird by the permission of Allah. And I cure the blind, and the leper, and I give life to the dead by the permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed, in that is surely a sign for you, if you are believers.

(Verse 3:49 says about Jesus: “I cure”, “I design”, “I breath”, “I give life”. So, Jesus performed Signs, as “a sign from your Lord” (3:49) and “by the permission of God” (3:49). So, if God had not given it to Jesus, then there would be no Sign at all, and if God were not to give permission, then there would be no Sign at all, then the performer (Jesus) is “irrelevant”, because Jesus can not be given a sign on his own. Other messengers came with Signs. Because a human performed it, it does not make him a deity)(Allah knows best)

3:59 Indeed, the likeness of Jesus with Allah is like the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.

(The miraculous birth of Jesus does not make him a deity. Adam was created likewise)(Allah knows best)

9:31 They have taken their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah, son of Mary, as Lords besides Allah. And they were not commanded except to worship One God. There is no god except Him. Glory be to Him from what they associate.

(Jesus did not follow any rabbi, monk or Pope)(And Jesus did not follow Paul; they did not even meet in person. Christians follow Paul’s teachings, while he opposed Jesus, and he had not authority to invent such lies. See the link below “Jesus vs. Paul”)(Allah knows best)

5:14 And from those who said, Indeed we are Christians," We took their covenant; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded of. So We aroused enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection. And soon Allah will inform them of what they used to do.

(According to Acts 11:26, the disciples were called “Christians” first in Antioch, so the word “Christian” was innovated time later because it is not mentioned in any of the four Gospels)(The word “Christian” is also not used in the Qur’an. The literal translation of the Arabic word is “Nazarenes” ((followers) of the Nazarene). On the other hand, "Muslim" is an Arabic word meaning "one who submits (to God)", and “Islam” is an Arabic word meaning “Submission (to God)”; that’s the religion preached by Jesus and all Messengers, because, according to Luke 22:42, Jesus said, “yet not my will, but yours be done”)(Allah knows best)

22:78 And strive for Allah with the striving which is due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you any difficulty in the religion. The religion of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before, and in this, that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over mankind. So establish prayer and give zakah (charity) and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - so an Excellent Protector and an Excellent Helper.

2:139 Say, "Do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? And for us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere to Him.

(The word “Allah” and “ilah” in the Qur’an use the same Semitic root than “eloah”, “elah”, “el” and “elohim” in the Bible)(The word “Allah” has no gender, nor plural in Arabic, and is literally translated as “The God”)(Allah knows best)

9:11 But if they repent, and establish prayer and give zakah (charity), then (they are) your brothers in religion. And We explain the Verses in detail for a people (who) know.

57:27 Then We sent Our Messengers on their footsteps and We followed with Jesus, son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. But the monasticism they innovated - We did not prescribe it for them - only seeking the pleasure of Allah, but they did not observe it with right observance. So We gave those who believed among them their reward, but most of them are defiantly disobediently.

5:18 And the Jews and the Christians said "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Nay, you are human beings from among those He created. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And for Allah is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the final return.

(God creates, He does not beget His creation. So, mankind is not children of God, but God’s creation)(According to Verse 9:30, the concept “son of God” is not from God, but from those who disbelieved before)(Allah knows best)

4:123 Neither your desire nor the desire of the People of the Book. Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah any protector or any helper. 4:124 And whoever does righteous deeds, from male or female, and he is a believer, then those will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged the speck on a date-seed.

(Christians innovated that they would be saved by the grace through Faith alone, regardless of their deeds, while, according to James 2:14-26, “faith without works is dead”; and Matthew 5:17 says “do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”; according to Matthew 23:2-3 “the teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.”; according to Acts 15:5 and 15:20, early Christians followed the Law)(Allah knows best)

37:95 He said, "Do you worship that which you carve 37:96 While Allah created you and that which you do?"

(It is explicitly forbidden to worship something carved)(Some Christians make images of, for example, Jesus and Mary, while it is prohibited in the Bible and in the Qur’an. The Bible, in Exodus 20:4, says “you shall not make for yourself a carved image”)(Allah knows best)

6:54 And when those who believe in Our Verses come to you, then say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has prescribed Mercy upon Himself, that whoever of you does evil in ignorance then repents after it and reforms, then indeed, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

(Muslims’ greetings is “Peace / Peace be upon you”. That’s also Jesus’ greeting in the Gospel (e.g. John 20:21))(Allah knows best)

4:51 Do you not see those who were given a portion of the Book? They believe in superstition and false deities, and they say about those who disbelieve[d] "These are better guided to the way than those who believe[d]. 4:52 Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed, and whoever Allah curses then you will never find any helper for him.
