Do you have to confess your sins to another person in order to be forgiven?

Do you have to confess your sins to another person in order to be forgiven?

71:10 Then I said, "Ask forgiveness from your Lord. Indeed, He is Oft-Forgiving.

7:23 Both of them said "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers."

3:135 And those when they did immorality or wronged themselves - they remember Allah then ask forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive the sins except Allah? And they do not persist in what they did while they know.

(Only God forgives the sins, in order to go to Paradise, instead of Hell. On the other hand, humans are the ones who ask forgiveness. So the Christian concept of confessing sins to another person in order to be forgiven is wrong)(Allah knows best)

39:43 Or have they taken intercessors besides Allah? Say, "Even though they were not possessing anything, nor do they understand?"

4:132 And to Allah whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

25:3 Yet they have taken gods besides Him, they create nothing, while they are created, and they do not possess for themselves any harm and nor any benefit, and nor they control death and nor life and nor resurrection.

9:31 They have taken their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah, son of Mary, as Lords besides Allah. And they were not commanded except to worship One God. There is no god except Him. Glory be to Him from what they associate.

40:11 They will say, "Our Lord, You gave us death twice and You gave us life twice, and we confess our sins. So is there any way to get out?"

(When you ask forgiveness, it implies that you are confessing that you sinned. But, you only have to ask God for forgiveness)(The Bible, in Proverbs 28:13-14, confirms that, in the matter of confessing, the verse only mentions God: “whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble”)(“1 John 1:9” also mentions God (“He”), in that matter: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”)(Allah knows best)

2:127 And when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and Ishmael, "Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You (are) the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

11:90 And ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn in repentance to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Most Merciful, Most Loving." 11:91 They said, "O Shuaib, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we surely see you weak among us. And if not for your family, surely we would have stoned you, and you are not mighty against us." 11:92 He said, "O my people, is my family mightier on you than Allah? And you have taken Him behind your backs. Indeed, my Lord is All-Encompassing of what you do.

46:9 Say, "I am not a new (one) among the Messengers and nor do I know what will be done with me and with you. I follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."

68:47 Or is with them the unseen, so they write it?

3:179 Allah does not leave the believers in what you are until He separates the evil from the good. Nor does Allah inform you about the unseen, but Allah chooses from His Messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allah and His Messengers, and if you believe and fear, then for you is a great reward.

25:58 And put your trust in the Ever-Living, the One Who does not die, and glorify with His Praise. And sufficient is He regarding the sins of His slaves, All-Aware,

33:3 And put your trust in Allah. And Allah is sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

28:16 He said, "My Lord, indeed, I have wronged my soul, so forgive me." Then He forgave him. Indeed He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

10:81 Then when they (had) thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought [it] (is) the magic. Indeed, Allah will nullify it. Indeed, Allah (does) not amend the work (of) the corrupters.
